Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Casa de Salud is a non-profit medical clinic located in the South Valley of Albuquerque that provides high quality medical services to people with no or limited health insurance. The Senior Non-Profit Accountant ensures the organization and staff are in compliance with Casa de Salud’s internal financial policies, contract and grant terms and conditions, and generally accepted accounting principles.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This position reports to the Director of Operations and the Executive Director and plays a critical role in sound fiscal management of the organization, as well as planning and budgeting for the organization’s future. The Senior Accountant will provide leadership and support in the following areas – finance, business planning and budgeting, human resources record-keeping, and other administrative tasks.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
5 years professional experience with non-profits that includes final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination for either a nonprofit organization or a government entity.
Extensive working knowledge of QuickBooks and Sage
