Mission Statement:

SITE Santa Fe is a non-profit contemporary arts museum committed to enriching the cultural life of Santa Fe. It presents exhibitions of artists who merit international recognition, and education and multidisciplinary public programs. Its International Biennial is a crucial part of this mission.

Primary Programs:

SITE Santa Fe presents four or more exhibitions annually that showcase art and artists on the cutting edge of contemporary art. Painting, sculpture, installation, video, sound, and ceramics are typical mediums that fill the 15,000 square feet of gallery space. To aid the public’s understanding of these works and engage in dialogue about them, trained SITE Guides are stationed throughout the museum. SITE's International Biennials have attracted tens of thousands of visitors, and garnered world-wide recognition and acclaim.

Other Programs:

SITE’s education outreach program, Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS), provides essential art learning experiences for more than 1,000 Santa Fe schoolchildren annually. An exciting travel program for members offers art-related experiences to places as diverse as Marfa (TX), Berlin, and New York City. SITE Santa Fe is free to the public on Fridays. The New York Times has called SITE, "the Southwest's premier contemporary art venue."
