Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position will recruit and manage volunteers for the Volunteer Driver Program, which assists Seniors with accessing transportation to non-emergency medical appointments in rural areas. The Volunteer Specialist will also coordinate rides and match riders with volunteers for their medical appointments.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Conduct ongoing volunteer recruitment. Recruit, interview, and select compassionate and competent volunteers. Respond to all incoming inquiries in a timely manner. Coordinate rides in an efficient and timely manner. Must be highly efficient computer skills.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and time management skills. Close and effective working relationships with senior clients and their family members, caregivers, and the public are required. Excellent computer, customer service, and communication skills are required. This position requires some travel throughout the Service Area.
