Office Coordinator and Community Liaison

Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Oversee daily operations and support administrative tasks, including inventory management, filing, and phone calls.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to meet fundraising goals.
• Write grants and manage reporting.
• Develop campaigns and events for historic preservation.
• Facilitate tours and workshops.
• Manage the website, social media, and marketing materials.
• Cover welcome center duties.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Event setup and breakdown, including furniture arrangement, equipment handling, and cleanup.
• Cultivate major donors and corporate support.
• Expand membership program.
• Handle donor communication and follow-up.
• Research prospects and write thank-you notes.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Preferred: Bachelor's or equivalent experience, plus 1+ year(s) in nonprofit or fundraising. Major in museum studies, history, or related fields. Seeking candidates with Google Workspace proficiency, familiarity with website and donor software, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
