Visitor Center Cashier

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Visitor Center Cashier welcomes guests, processes admissions and sales, and provides excellent customer service. This role requires cash-handling accuracy, a friendly demeanor, and knowledge of Garden and Museum Hill. Responsibilities include POS transactions, assisting visitors, maintaining inventory, and working with staff to ensure smooth operations.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

May require extra hours or evenings for events. Assists with product display, pricing, gift wrapping, and packaging for shipping. Helps maintain a clean Visitor Center by vacuuming, sweeping, and dusting as needed.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requires strong customer service, communication, and POS skills. Must follow procedures, maintain professionalism, and work a set schedule. High school diploma and 2+ years of retail experience required. CRM (Altru) experience and Spanish bilingual preferred. Must lift 30 lbs., have a valid NM driver’s license, and work some weekends/evenings.
