Main Areas of Responsibility:
Provide professional counseling to facilitate in the healing process of primary and secondary survivors of sexual violence including sexual assault, abuse, incest, and sex trafficking survivors. Also, to assess, evaluate and treat emotional distress associated with trauma; conduct assessments and evaluations to establish treatment goals and objectives; plan, implement and evaluate treatment plans using counseling treatment interventions.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
In addition to therapeutic services, the therapist/counselor provides care coordination and advocacy for survivors by interfacing with various systems including employers, legal/court systems, family/friends, medical/other mental health providers, school systems, etc.
Salary Range:
$60,000-$70,000; salary commensurate with licensure and experience
