The New Mexico Learning Alliance believes that the children of our State should have access to the best education possible, and is embarking on a statewide effort to create a vibrant and effective education improvement movement. The endeavor will be incubated by the Partnership for Community Action under the leadership of Adrián Pedroza, Executive Director.
“The Partnership for Community Action is honored to provide leadership and support for the Learning Alliance as we strive to build an education system that reflects the strengths and values of New Mexico,” says Pedroza.
In approaching any educational issue or policy option, the Learning Alliance proposes the following set of values to guide discussion and decision-making: Equity, World View, Urgency, Holistic, Respectful, and Asset-based Innovation. Founding member Kara Bobroff says that, "Together, we can shape education reform strategies that have greatest impact for New Mexico by creating a space for meaningful dialogue and mutual learning between all stakeholders of public education."
