Every year the Mayor & First Lady’s Charity Gala raises money for local non-profits, this year the submission date has been extended
Albuquerque- Plans for the 2013 Charity Gala are already coming together. As the excitement for the annual event picks up momentum, local non-profits have been applying to receive funding support generated by the Gala. The theme for this year’s applications is veterans and/or literacy services.
A request for proposals (RFP) was sent out to local charities in early September. After a couple web-related issues the RFP Committee has decided to extend the date for submissions to Wednesday, November 14th, at 5pm. Non-profits who have submitted an application and have not received confirmation should re-submit their application to http://www.cabq.gov/mayor/charity-gala/charity-gala-application
The Mayor and First Lady’s Charity Gala will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Albuquerque Convention Center, “Celebrating Route 66”.
