Call for Proposals: Annual Social Sector Conference

The 3rd Annual Social Sector Conference will be held on April 23 & 24 at Isleta Resort & Casino in Albuquerque. Groundworks envisions a powerful event full of learning, connection, networking... and joy! This year's theme is Route to Unity: Driving Together Toward a Stronger New Mexico.

We encourage potential speakers and facilitators to consider opportunities for engaging outside-the-box sessions, such as interactive panels on topics of interest to our audience of nonprofits, philanthropy, local government, and consultants; and facilitated conversations to help bring unity to the sector coming together as one ecosystem. Session types may include workshop-style breakouts, reflective storytelling, and more. Over the course of 2 days, we plan for a mix of up to 20 sessions on a variety of topics. See the checklist within this application for suggested topic starting points, or add your own. Per feedback from last year, we are planning for ample networking breaks and a focus on concurrent breakout sessions of 60-75 minutes. For best consideration, please submit your proposal by November 10.

Speaker benefits include exposure, networking, and a registration discount. Groundworks values diverse representation from the beautiful communities that make up our state. Questions? Reach out to GNM Learning Manager, Faith Kelly, at [email protected]. Thank you!
