Valencia County Community Outreach & Partnership Manager

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The position's primary purpose is to be a thought partner with community stakeholders and staff, setting strategic direction using grassroots, community-driven solutions, working with a highly collaborative team to address disparities in north central NM around educational attainment and family stability in order to successfully help each person reach their potential.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Minimum 85% Time: Implement the Resilient Communities project in Valencia County.
Work in partnership with Community Outreach teammates to share best practices and communicate progress.
15% Time: Execute occasional outreach to Bernalillo County area leaders, agencies, and neighborhood groups to identify key needs of residents and gaps in services.
Collaborate with area agencies to identify key needs of residents and gaps in services

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in social work, family studies, human services, education, communications, psychology, or a related field.
Five years’ experience in community organizing, education, social work, youth development, human services, or other related field.

Salary Range: 
$50,000 - $60,000 salary per year dependent upon experience, 35 hours per week FTE (Full Time Employee).
