Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide professional counseling to facilitate in the healing process of primary and secondary survivors of sexual violence including sexual assault, abuse, incest, and sex trafficking survivors. Access, evaluate and treat emotional distress associated with trauma; conduct assessments and evaluations; plan, implement and evaluate treatment plans.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide referrals, consulting and facilitate both individual and therapeutic groups. Provide care coordination and advocacy for survivors by interfacing with various systems including employers, legal/court systems, family/friends, medical/other mental health providers, school systems, etc.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requires professional licensure (LPCC, LPC, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, LISW), experience providing Trauma-Informed Therapy, one year experience working with survivors of sexual violence/abuse and or trauma. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
