Housing Case Manager

Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Work with individuals and families who are homeless or receiving homelessness assistance. Support efforts to mitigate the impacts created by COVID -19 under the Emergency Solutions Grant program. Work closely with partners, landlords, and families to ensure safe living opportunities. Determine eligibility, provide case management, ability to inspect living environments and work with other partners to provide wrap around services.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Supports could include short term financial assistance for housing, utility assistance, and moving costs. In addition, work with each client to develop a plan and achieve their goals and objectives set with Case Manager. Advocate for clients to assure safe living environment that meets HUD standards and assure rental costs are reasonable.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor of Social Work or related degree, graduate degree or comparable experience. Social services and accounting background experience is a plus. Prior experience with homeless population or populations with high clinical needs.
