Grants Manager

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Provide clear and concise grants administration policies and procedures for staff and grantees.
• Train staff on both grants administration and procedures.
• Writing proposals to secure funding from grants.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Work with Program Directors to develop or revise applications and report formats to ensure appropriate data collection and reports are created.
• Coordinate with Program Directors on mapping out timing of grant applications and reviews.
• Maintain records of funding sources and grant budget compliance.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working with grants.
• Previous nonprofit work experience.
• Program Management experience preferred.
• Microsoft Excel and Data base entry experience.
• Strong written, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
