Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for the day to day operations of an educational and service organization for older adults (50+). Oversee the administration of three core programs: Lifelong Learning (2,000 students annually), the Intergenerational Tutoring Program (in cooperation with APS and Rio Rancho schools), and the Veterans History Project. Work with board of directors on fundraising, and board development. Responsible for fiscal management. Supervise staff of three.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Develop fundraising strategies with the board of directors, including cultivation of major donors and direct solicitation. Write 5 - 10 grants annually. Oversee development of 48 page trimester catalog with over 300+ activities a year.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Excellent financial, fundraising, and management skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; experience in educational and cultural programming. BA degree in business, nonprofit management or a related field; MA preferred; minimum of seven years experience in a related field.
