Development Officer

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The NM Center on Law and Poverty is seeking a highly-skilled development officer to join our development department. Position will be responsible for grant writing and reporting, as well as overall grant administration and management, funder relationship-building, project evaluation, individual and major donor solicitation, and basic database management. You must be highly organized and detail-oriented to be considered for this position.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Qualifications include: superb writing skills; careful attention to detail; ability to track & manage multiple grants; communications savvy; and proficiency in basic Microsoft software, including desktop publishing. Demonstrated experience in writing grant proposals that received funding strongly preferred. Bachelor's Degree preferred, but related education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
