Bilingual (Spanish/English) Therapist

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide professional therapy for survivors of sexual violence, including sexual assault, abuse, and incest, and for others impacted by these issues. Provide case coordination and advocacy for survivors by interfacing with various systems including employers, legal/court system, family/friends, medical, schools, etc. Caseload will include Spanish-speaking clients and English-speaking clients.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Maintain professional documentation and record keeping for client files. Engage in ongoing evaluation of services and treatment modalities. Participate in RCCCNM's planning and budgeting activities. Participate in community presentations as needed.
Participate in community outreach efforts to actively reach Spanish-speaking clients.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Master's degree and New Mexico licensure in Counseling (LPCC, LMHC), Art Therapy (LPAT), Social Work (LMSW, LISW), or related discipline. Experience working with survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Must be able to speak, read, write, and conduct counseling sessions in Spanish and English fluently. Successful applicants must complete the RCCCNM 40-hour Advocate Training.
