Associate Organizing Representative

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

We are hiring an organizer, based in Albuquerque, to help build a diverse movement to protect key wildlands and wildlife habitat in the state. You will be asked to influence key decision makers by rallying public support for our work and building diverse coalitions--including non-traditional allies and youth groups.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This will involve engaging our grassroots volunteers, business leaders, media outlets, and political allies. To be successful, you will build strong connections between these constituents and the iconic places they are protecting.

Other Information/Requirements: 

You will be asked to hit the ground running. Ideal candidates will have experience with movement building and volunteer engagement, including comfort with public speaking and contacting local media outlets. Knowledge of the local political climate and conservation movement is helpful, but not necessary. A background in outdoor leadership and/or education will also be helpful.
