Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Administrative Assistant is very often the first NMWC employee that visitors meet either in person or by phone. This staff member therefore must possess exemplary customer service skills. This Positions primary responsibilities are serving as initial point of contact for NMWC, providing administrative support to NMWC staff, and overseeing NMWC lobby, gift shop, and animal intake.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Answer phone and direct calls to other staff; greet visitors and animal rescuers at entrance; operate point of sales for admissions, donations, and gift shop sales; follow animal intake protocols and assist animal rescuers; maintain the lobby and portal; support management, communication, development, education and hospital staff with a variety of administrative tasks.
