Why Your Nonprofit Needs a Volunteer Handbook

Registration is closed for this event

Is creating or updating a volunteer handbook something that you have on your To Do list? Join us to learn what information to include in your handbook to maximize the effectiveness of your volunteer program.

Learning Objectives

  • Define how the organization will utilize volunteers
  • Understand the different types of information to include in a volunteer handbook

Description

Over 350,000 New Mexicans volunteer each year and they all have one thing in common: they want and need  a clear understanding of the organization and their role. Volunteer handbooks ensure that both the organization and the volunteer are clear about expectations and responsibilities.

Whether your organization needs to create a volunteer handbook or already has one, this session will provide you with an understanding of what to include inside this essential document.
