Description

Making a Major Gift Ask is an intensive coaching session through each key phase of confidently asking a top prospect for a transformative gift. This session will focus on the groundwork that sets the stage for a smooth personal visit, a framework with actual talking points that you can use and re-use in your meetings, and scenario-based training to prepare you for every kind of outcome. This session will include role play exercises as well as tips for effectively coaching other leaders at your organization through personal solicitations. 

With a little structure and inspiration, you can free up your best energy and enthusiasm for asking your most critical donors for support!

Presenter

Emilie De Angelis, principal and owner of Serafina Company, has more than 20 years helping nonprofits in the arts, culture, and education fields find and connect with donors to achieve major fundraising milestones. She is a fourth-generation New Mexican who spent most of her career working at top nonprofit organizations in Chicago before returning to the Land of Enchantment in 2016.
