IRS Form 990 and Functional Expenses 6-2008

This session will give you an overview of the IRS Form 990 filing requirements. It is important for exempt organizations to be preparing for the filing of their IRS Form 990 throughout the year. This will give you the tools you need to begin preparing now. Also, you will be provided information of those critical issues related to the IRS Form 990 that could trigger an IRS audit and/or that could cause you to lose your tax exemption status. Besides the presentation you will be given resources that should answer most of your questions concerning your filing requirements with IRS and with the State of New Mexico.
