The Invisible Yellow Line: Clarifying Board & Staff Roles 2014

Registration is closed for this event

When the line between board and staff roles is not clearly defined it can lead to confusion and diverts positive energy from the organization’s mission. The Invisible Yellow Line will clarify the roles of board and staff in key nonprofit management areas such as governance, finance, human resources, fundraising, planning and more. You’ll learn how to incorporate this fun football metaphor into your organization’s management style to open doors of communication between your important leaders. Just like in a football game, both teams have the same goal – serving your mission and purpose.

This fast paced practical seminar will discuss the key roles of Board and Executive Director, share common pitfalls to avoid and end with an interactive "test" of knowledge that can be used to open conversations back at the office.
