The recording of contributions and grants can be very confusing. With this training, you will receive detailed instructions and examples of the different accounting rules for each type of contribution and grant revenue.

Presenters
Monica Yaple, CPA is one of the founding partners at Griego Professional Services, LLC and has been working in public accounting since 2001. Her experience has been focused mostly on audits of governmental entities, but includes a wide range of accounting services. Other experience includes audits for not-for-profits, construction contractors, tribal entities and various other organizations as well as tax preparation for individuals and businesses, bookkeeping and consulting.
Janice Moen, CPA, is Finance Director of ARCA, a nonprofit providing service to individuals with developmental disabilities. Janice has over 25 years of accounting experience, twelve years of which were as Chief Financial Officer of Chief Executive Officer of nonprofit agencies. Janice also has five years experience as an external auditor of governmental and nonprofit agencies. Janice was awarded the 2007 Outstanding Member in Corporate Practice Award by the New Mexico Society of CPA's. She was also recognized as one of the Business Weekly's Top CFO's in 2007.
