Here is some feedback from people who attended this workshop in February 2010:

"I left the training with a stronger understanding of financial management concepts and a list of 17 action items to address and research to improve my organization.  It enabled me to get more in-depth knowledge in areas I have already raised concerns for our organization; and gave me additional information to bring to management concerning best practices in the areas I have been concerned about for our organization."

"The training was excellent.  Specifically -- gaining a better understanding of Board governance responsibilities and internal controls was what I expected and what I received from the instructors.  I also have a better understanding of how to interact with the organization's Auditor each year -- what their role is and how I can utilize their time more effectively."
