Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:

Volunteer Drivers have a profound impact on lives as they help seniors stay independent as long as possible. This life sustaining transportation service is important, but we need your help to make it successful. Research shows that many older adults in Northern New Mexico skip medical appointments due to lack of transportation. Volunteer Drivers ease this burden by utilizing their own insured vehicles to provide rides to non-emergency medical appointments for adults 60 years of age or older and for adults with disabilities.
The frequency of rides is up to the volunteer driver. Appointments are scheduled between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
