The legend continues! Join our robust stable of weekly volunteer dog walkers so shelter staff can engage our high-needs dogs with targeted enrichment.

Keep the momentum going. Bring your friends!

Why 50?
Based on our current population numbers, 50 weekly walkers will provide meaningful outdoor time to our energetic, cooped-up dogs. This frees up our Behavior and Animal Care staff to give focused attention to every one of our companion animals like the individuals they are.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project:

Our most vulnerable animals receive personalized attention when volunteers take on the dog walking, resulting in more adoptable pets, decreasing length of stay, providing better outcomes for our residents, and allowing us to take care of more individual animals. Dog walking provides enrichment, a deeper experience with the world, socialization, and exercise - oh, and the dogs like it too.
