Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

We are looking for a website manager who can help us maintain our website. The individual should reside in New Mexico, but the work is done virtually (so can be outside of ABQ/Santa Fe area). Responsibilities include:
- Understand website navigation and how to prioritize information on the site
- Ensure branding is consistent with standards
- Coordinate efforts with various volunteers (incl. social media director and newsletter editor)
- Develop and manage ongoing new content
- Monitor security and perform all necessary updates
- Make all necessary updates to the site, minimizing downtime
- Monitor and report web traffic; optimize for SEO (incl. update content to reflect current SEO trends)
- Repair any broken links and fix any reported bugs
- Reply to user comments and queries in a timely fashion
- Maintain Google Workspace account (email addresses)

Experience in Squarespace (our platform) or similar website builder software
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to coordinate work across the organization
Reliable, trustworthy, attention to detail
Experience in graphic design or photo editing/design software a plus
Experience in overall Marketing & Communications planning a plus
