Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

General Description: Driver picks up an insulated bag and cold chest filled with meals for clients at one of the MOW offices. After checking for changes to the route, the driver delivers meals to clients in a geographical area. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Checks both containers for missing and/or extra meals and informs coordinator of discrepancies in meals prepared; 2. Provides social contact for clients, many of whom are very isolated; 3. Delivers gifts and favors for clients made/donated by community members; 4. Reports to coordinator anything unusual about clients noticed during delivery, acting as gatekeeper.
