Our mission is to provide fresh, healthy produce in a manner which heals and enhances local farmland, to build community through shared work, play, education and food, and to be an evolving model of sustainable and "beyond-organic" agriculture that works to harmonize the energies of humans with super-sensible beings, wildlife and the environment.
1. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program
Erda Gardens and Learning Center is a grassroots community building effort aimed at healing the land while producing vibrationally superior produce and creating community. We practice Biodynamic farming in a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model.
We rely on member/shareholders to finance the growing season by purchasing shares of the harvest at the beginning of the season. In return for financial support, the members receive a diverse range of fresh, locally grown, pesticide free, biodynamic produce on a weekly basis, and peace of mind in knowing where their food came from, that it was grown and distributed in an environmentally conscious manner.
2. Community Outreach & Education Program
Erda Gardens seeks to inform and educate our community about agricultural practices that heal and preserve the Earth. Each season we offer an Adult Workshop Series and a Children's Workshop Series. Previous workshops have included diverse topics and activities such as: biodynamic and organic gardening, food preservation methods, elements of permaculture design, as well as arts and crafts projects using natural and recycled materials. Another one of our goals is to help train future food growers by offering mini-internships for students to work and learn sustainable growing techniques from a master bio-dynamic organic farmer.
Erda Gardens offers educational programs for children and adults and provides free consulting services for those wishing to learn and begin using Biodynamic preparations on their land in whatever size acreage.
