To encourage a vibrant, historic downtown which is recognized as the heart of our diverse community.
Primary Programs:
Silver City MainStreet has provided Downtown Revitalization services since 1985. This follows the national MainStreet Four-Point Approach - Economic Positioning, Promotion, Design, and Organization. In addition, MainStreet operates the Historic Silco Theater, a downtown cornerstone venue for events and meetings; and is a collaborating organization in the state-designated Silver City Arts & Cultural District.
