Mission Statement:

To reduce risk of youth suicide.

Primary Programs:

o The SKY Counseling Center, located at DeVargas Middle School in Santa Fe, provides intensive counseling to youth experiencing behaviors associated with suicide and their families.o Natural Helpers training that teaches a cross-section of students how to help themselves and fellow students cope with and respond in healthier, more positive ways to the problems that may lead to self-destructive behaviors.o Suicide Education and Awareness training provided to adults and students in Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico public schools.o Crisis support is provided to students at Santa Fe County schools following student suicides and suicide attempts.o Advanced training in suicide prevention counseling is provided to 10-12 graduate interns in counseling and social work and family physicians at the SKY Center.
