Global One to One
Strengthening global connections through one to one communication
Students in classrooms and school clubs at the middle school, high school and collegiate levels can participate in one of our three programs. Participants develop skills in effective intercultural communication, critical thinking and problem solving, as well as collaboration--skills essential to success in the global economy, work place and international politics. Global One to One is creating a network of students and educators who appreciate the importance of diversity and acceptance of differences on a global level.* Connect One to One is the PeacePal international student to student communication exchange using a unique one to one model. Based in school classrooms over the course of an academic year, students exchange hand written letters, Skype calls and videos with a peer in a country across the globe. Students are led through a process that results in new insights and deeper understanding that can only come through one to one connections.
* Engage One to One is our hands-on clubs and student groups. A variety of clubs are available to high school and university students, including UNESCO clubs which provide participants with the skills needed to foster civil society collaboration.
* Innovate One to One is an opportunity for a select group of students in the U.S. and abroad to develop intercultural communication and collaboration skills while working together on STEM and robotics projects.
