Mission Statement:

To further the aims of education for the public by serving as a portal through which individuals and families may obtain information, and acquire skills and experience for enlightenment, enjoyment and empowerment.

Primary Programs:

Provide free library services that include: lending of books, audios, DVDs, VHS tapes; free use of 8 public access computers; notary public services; fax services; use of copier (10 cents per copy).

Programs for Children: Theater arts, book making, retablo painting, traditional tin work, arts and crafts, summer reading, aikido, individual tutoring, an after school program; and children's events.

Programs and Resources for Adults: Literacy and computer skills tutoring, Spanish classes, tutoring in English as a Second Language, poetry readings, Santa Fe Opera Apprentice Tour, Family Resource Center, and adult events.

Other library services and programs: Interlibrary loan; Sponsorship of El Rito Studio Tour; Community room available for public use at no charge.
