The mission of The Heart of Columbus is to provide services that maintain independent living with safety and dignity. Our primary mission is to provide one hot nourishing meal per day, Monday though Friday, to the sick and indigent, both in a congregate setting and to our homebound clients.
Soup kitchen: hot and cold breakfast Monday-Friday. Hot lunch Tuesday & Thursday. Community potluck Friday evenings. Food bank/distribution 4 times/month. Emergency food boxes also available.
Social setting: free wi-fi 24 hrs; computers; television; reading room, etc.
Holiday community meals, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Volunteers and representatives available to serve as resources for SNAP, Veterans' Affairs, referrals, etc.
