Mission Statement:

Hands Across Time NM promotes community investment in our most vulnerable populations. We seek to inspire, implement, and support, innovative social welfare practices to ensure that individuals at risk for, or who have experienced poverty, inequality and or prejudice, find lifelong family relationships in supportive, sustainable communities, which enable them to lead fulfilling and productive lives.

Primary Programs:

In 2019 we are launching a Home Sharing program based off of HIPHousing.org in California. We will match youths emancipating from the foster care system with stable Albuquerque Home Providers.
Our long term goal is to develop intergenerational residential communities to encourage supportive community for people experiencing vulnerability.

Other Programs:

We bring together partners from a range of disciplines to inspire, implement, operate, and support, fully sustainable intentional intergenerational community living, to Incentivize Foster and Adoptive Care in New Mexico.
