Primary Programs:

The Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) operates the Los Alamos Nature Center, and serves 30,000 people a year with high-quality environmental education, school lessons and field trips, and public talks, classes and outings. Everything we do is designed to further our mission of enriching lives by strengthening people's connection with the unique landscape of the Pajarito Plateau.

Other Programs:

The Los Alamos Nature Center, built in 2015, is an award-winning building perched on the edge of a canyon. Inside, hands-on, interactive exhibits, live animals, a play-on diorama, video microscope, wildlife observation room, and planetarium educate people about our beautiful outdoors.
