Earth Works Institute
It is EWI’s mission to help communities build capacity to restore, protect, and live in harmony with their natural environment. We do this by bringing together education, community-driven land stewardship, watershed restoration, land-use planning and policy work, and our green collar climate corps.
Water & Land Health
EWI’s Water & Land Health Program restores healthy stream and upland ecosystems by reconnecting landowners and communities to stewardship values and practices. We do this by:
* Establishing model restoration sites that demonstrate bio-technical solutions and inspire people to connect to the land
* Building Community Stewardship Teams to monitor restoration progress and engage local citizens
