Mission Statement:

The mission of DCCNM is dedicated to the development, growth & education of our Deaf NM community and to share our Culture with our allies. 

Primary Programs:

The Deaf Entrepreneurial Program is designed to utilize the strengths of an established Deaf entrepreneur to mentor a budding Deaf, DeafBlind, or Hard-of-Hearing entrepreneur.
Often The Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard-of-Hearing community members have difficulty in obtaining employment.
The program is under development and is seen providing job opportunities by and for the Deaf community emphasizing the importance of building economic resilience and self-reliance allowing for individuals to develop agency and realize that "PAH! Dreams do come true".

Other Programs:

Other programs consist of:
1) Community ASL Classes
2) Monthly Deaf Events - This encourages socialization and communication opportunities.
3) Deaf Sensitivity Training for organizations that want to be more inclusive and understanding of the Deaf culture in NM.
