Sky Mountain Wild Horse Sanctuary accomplishes its mission through two primary programs: first, by providing a permanent haven for mustangs that have been removed from the wild where these mustangs roam free for life. The sanctuary, in collaboration with partners, keeps mustangs free in the wild by using immunocontraception to reduce reproduction and maintain herd numbers that are healthy for mustangs and their range.
