Mission Statement:
RAALP envisions a community where all adults have the literacy skills that enable them to achieve their personal and professional goals. RAALP provides free, one-to-one tutoring for adults reading at or below 6th grade level. We work with both Basic Literacy students and new English learners.
Primary Programs:
Free, one-to-one tutoring in reading, writing, and pre-high school equivalency; free, one-to-one tutoring in English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL). RAALP trains community volunteers to become tutors to adult Basic Literacy and ESL students.
