Mission Statement:

To comfort the physical,emotional and spiritual pain of the critically ill and their loved ones using live prescriptive music (harp and voice)at the bedside.

To offer artistic performances and educational presentations that deepen awareness of personal and cultural models of death, loss, and grief.

Primary Programs:

1. Music vigils for critically-ill persons and their families provided by certified music-thanatologists live at the bedside with harp and voice. 

2) Educational presentations about the field of music-thanatology and the role of music in relieving pain and providing comfort at the end-of-life. 

3) "Sailing by Night," a solo performance piece weaving song, music story and dramatic material to explore the realm of mystery, beauty, loss and love encountered by caregivers for the critically-ill.
