St. Vincent Hospital Foundation
To support CHRISTUS ST. VINCENT Regional Medical Center and its related programs in its mission to provide healthcare to the people of Northern New Mexico, regardless of their ability to pay for services.
The Foundation solicits contributions and grants to meet the Hospital's needs for capital projects, major equipment, patient and community programs, indigent care, staff training, and a number of specific areas of hospital operations. St. Vincent Hospital Foundation has several programs that it manages directly, including:
* The Healthcare Exploration Program: a paid summer internship for high school students, designed to introduce students to a variety of careers in healthcare.
* The Cancer Pharmacy Program: a program to provide indigent cancer patients with necessary medications.
* The Breast Care Fund: a program to provide mammograms and other follow up screenings to women who do not have insurance and who do not qualify for other programs due to income, age, or previous screening results.
