Mission Statement:

Improve the quality of life and health of people living in developing countries in Central and South America by promoting community based, self-help, drinking water and sanitation projects.

Primary Programs:

WEFTA provides technical support and assists with finding financial support to make the needed water and sanitation projects possible. The community members commit to providing all the non-skilled manual labor required to construct the systems. WEFTA volunteers make site visits to confirm the scope of each project and make ongoig follow up visits once the projects are underway or completed to make sure they are functioning properly and as planned over the long term.
