Mission Statement:

The NMCC Foundation is dedicated to supporting our patients' non-medical needs during their battle against cancer. We support patient and physician education programs to increase awareness and early diagnosis of cancer.

Primary Programs:

*Patient grants: non-medical financial support to patients for assistance with basic needs: food, shelter, utilities & essential services to maintain their families during their cancer treatment.

*Patient education programs: programs are provided on a wide range of topics: cancer signs & diagnosis, family support, genetic counseling, financial/insurance issues, legal counseling, support groups, survivorship.

*Medical education (CME's) for New Mexican physicians (from all counties) to increase their knowledge and understanding for early diagnosis and new treatments for cancer. To use technology to educate caregivers and physicians in rural areas of New Mexico.
