National Institute of Flamenco
The Mission of the National Institute of Flamenco is to preserve and promote flamenco’s artistry, history, and culture by presenting the finest flamenco in the world and by educating the American family in this art form while emphasizing the positive influence of art on families and communities.
For over 30 years, the National Institute of Flamenco has enriched the city of Albuquerque with the art of flamenco. Established in 1982, the Institute has developed into the most important flamenco arts organization in the world, unparalleled based on the diversity and scope of its programs. Through the vehicles of performance, presentation and education, the organizations impacts more lives than any other single flamenco arts organization. The National Institute of Flamenco fulfills its mission through the following programs:
