Mission Statement:
To promote health and fitness for adults 50+ through recreational sports and athletic experiences.
Primary Programs:
Maintain a website (www.senior-sports.org) which publishes information about current and upcoming athletic experiences for adults 50+, and acts as a liaison between senior athletes and governing institutions. Additionally, the NM Senior Sports Foundation provides grants to organizations promoting senior sports; recognizes special contributions of senior athletes by presenting yearly Lifetime Achievement Awards; offers Fiscal Sponsorships to affiliated groups; and coordinates clinics in the areas of health, exercise, and sports.
