New Mexico Consortium
The New Mexico Consortium (NMC) is non-profit corporation formed by three New Mexico universities in order to facilitate research in the state of New Mexico, and specifically to increase research collaborations between universities, industry and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).
Established in 2006, the New Mexico Consortium (NMC) partners with Los Alamos National Laboratory in order to develop, implement and continually improve models that encourage and support collaborative research across its partner institutions, including the University of New Mexico, New Mexico State University and the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology
Science is increasingly collaborative; tackling problems at a large scale requires cross-institutional, cross-disciplinary teams. The NMC was formed to anticipate what it takes for LANL, universities and industry to work together.
