Mission Statement:

To build individual, family and community strength by focusing on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Our teen centers mission in Española and Los Alamos is to strengthen the efficacy of community youth through educational support and positive youth development programs.

Primary Programs:

Our purpose is to provide opportunities for all ages to learn new skills, try hard and succeed, and connect with community. We believe these experiences allow us to learn, grown and thrive, and help youth become healthy adults. Our primary services include youth, family and community skill-building programming; after school and summer camp programs, a wellness facility in Los Alamos; and teen recreational and academic programming in Española and Los Alamos. We provide health education in regard to diabetes, obesity and chronic disease prevention. We host youth-leadership programs through the Youth Mobilers program, Leadership Los Alamos, and the Y Earth Service Corps. We also provide employment opportunities through New Mexico’s Youth Conservation Corps summer program.
