You're invited to community meetings and to take an online survey to give your opinions and suggestions for the next APS superintendent.
APS Board of Education has started its search process for a new superintendent. One of the most critical steps in the process is input from staff, families, and community members.
APS has scheduled several employee and community meetings to provide you specific opportunities to join a discussion about the most important qualities the Albuquerque Public Schools Board of Education should consider when hiring a new superintendent.
The community meetings are:
Monday, Jan. 12 - 6-7:30 p.m. - Highland Performing Arts Center, 4700 Coal Ave., SE
Tuesday, Jan. 13 - 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Alice and Bruce King Ed. Complex, 6400 Uptown Blvd., NE
Tuesday, Jan. 13 - 6-7:30 p.m. - West Mesh High School Performing Arts Center, 6701 Fortuna Rd., NW
Get more information or take a short survey at the Albuquerque Public Schools website at www.aps.edu at the superintendent search link.
