United Way of Eastern New Mexico Hosts 4th Annual Health & Wellness Day

Health & Wellness Day, October 29, 2011, 9am-3pm at Clovis Community College--Clovis New Mexico

United Way of Eastern New Mexico will host its 4th annual Health and Wellness Day at Clovis Community College on October 29, 2011 from 9:00a.m.-3:00p.m. This a FREE event and is open to the public. The Health and Wellness Day is sponsored in part by the Curry County Wellness Council and will feature an expo of health and wellness minded vendors, seminars to educate on various health and wellness related topics, a showing of the documentary “Fat Sick and Nearly Dead” a FREE lunch and over $750.00 in cash and prizes.

The focus of the Health and Wellness Day is to educate families about ways to stay healthy not only through the stress of the Holiday season, but to maintain that health throughout the year. There will also be a “kids track” for families with children ages 5-12. The Kids Track will offer arts and crafts, an exercise class and several other health minded activities. Children will also be provided with a FREE lunch.
